The Font is a growing London-based climbing gym business operating 2 sites in Wandsworth and Borough.

Role: Crew Member

Reporting to: Centre Manager

Pay: £12.55 per hour

Hours: Full and part-time contracts available

The Role:

We are looking for a full-time Crew Member to fulfill up to 40 hours per week to support the day-to-day running of the center. The ideal candidate will have management potential and will receive Duty Manager training while on the job, allowing them to gain experience while covering stand-in shifts. Plus, we have an ambitious growth plan that will provide significant opportunities for career progression.

Responsibilities:

As a Crew Member at The Font, you will have one main goal – Delivering exceptional customer experiences. We’d expect this to include responsibilities for:

• Providing exceptional customer service in all areas (reception, café, climbing, and fitness).
• Dealing with customer queries via phone, email, and social media.
• Dealing with Health & Safety, cleaning & maintenance requirements of the center.
• Running customer induction and introduction sessions (training provided).
• Use of visitor & member management software.

Essential Skills:

• Customer focused.
• Experience working in a customer service role.

Desirable Skills:

• Good knowledge of climbing best practice and current industry standards.
• Experience working within a climbing or gym environment.
• Experience working in food & bev environments (particularly with specialty coffee).
