Sales & Membership Associate

Full Time
£26,000 per annum (+ uncapped commission, with realistic on-target earnings being an additional £5k per year)

The Business: The Font is a growing London-based climbing gym business operating 2 sites in Wandsworth and Borough.

Role: Sales& Memberships Associate

Reporting to: Head of Operations

Hours: 40 hours per week.

Location: Hybrid (remote and on The Font sites)

Responsibilities: As the Sales & Membership Manager at The Font, you will be responsible for nurturing prospective customers into regular climbers, and managing the administration around sales, booking, and scheduling across The Font’s products:

●Managing The Font’s sales pipeline for all product types (e.g. memberships, coaching, group bookings, etc).

●Using all customer communication channels (call, SMS, and email) to ensure leads are progressed efficiently.

●Managing group booking administration (e.g. schools, corporates, private hire, etc).

●Manage attendance and sales output from key seasonal sales events (in particular, University welcome weeks)

●Gather insight on member cancellations.

●Manage re-activation communications.

●Maintaining regular contact with corporate & group booking customers.

●Triaging coaching requests.

●Managing coaching availability& scheduling.

●Managing coaching booking &payment administration.

Essential skills:

●Customer Service: Friendly, approachable, and attentive to customer needs and inquiries.

●Product Knowledge: A deep understanding of the Font’s services, products, and facilities.

●Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

●Organization: Maintaining accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and sales.

●Time Management: Efficiently managing leads, appointments, and daily tasks.

●Teamwork: Collaboration with colleagues in marketing and operations.

●Resilience: Rejection is a part of sales. Being able to bounce back with a positive attitude.

●Technical Proficiency: Ability to use relevant CRM and Point of Sales systems.

● Problem-solving: Being able to find solutions to customer issues or concerns.

● Goal-oriented: Setting and working toward sales targets and goals.
