Event details and booking
Saturday 16/11/2024:
The first day will host the qualifying rounds of the competition.
The 2 qualification rounds are exactly the same, just at a different time of day. It is likely that the conditions are better in the first round, but maybe you are going to be in better condition for round 2 after a lay-in, so we'll let you decide!

We really want to emphasise that there is no minimum climbing ability holding you back from getting involved. There really is something for everyone! If you have any concerns or queries, please do contact us or ask a member of the team!
Please be aware that many of the qualifying blocs will be stripped to make way for the semi-final and final rounds so if you want to try them, get involved on the 16th!
Sunday 17/11/2024:
The second day we will be hosting semi-finals and finals. Scores will be counted and those that qualify will be invited to compete the following day. We will have spectator spots open to book (for semis & finals) if you would like to come along and watch the competitors battle it out! We will have limited space due to capacity limits so make sure you book a space.

Spectator spots last year were fully booked by the time the event day came around so it's well worth booking in advance to secure your space.
Please note the centre will be closed to general entries over these days.
Who can enter the comp?
This competition follows a simple category format and has 'Adult Male' and 'Adult Female' categories and a 'Amateur' category.
Minimum competitive age is 14 (but they will compete against adults) and normal entry/supervision policies apply.
We really want to emphasise that there is no minimum climbing ability holding you back from getting involved. There really is something for everyone!
Below are costs for comp entry and spectating:
- Qualification round entry = £30.00
- Semi's/Finals spectator ticket (all day + free drink) = £5.00
- 20% discount for members
- 20% early bird discount of (if booked before 16th October)
- Discounts can stack
Below is the prize money for each category and position:
- 1st place = £1,500.00
- 2nd place = £600.00
- 3rd place = £400.00
- 4th place = £200.00
- 5th place = £100.00
- 6th place = £50.00
Info for finalists:
The travel expenses for all podium places will be covered up to £750. Please note: Proof of purchase must be provided, car/fuel costs will be covered at £0.45 per mile.
What's included: Return travel from home to accommodation (prior to and after event) and return travel from accommodation to The Font on the days of the event
Not included: Travel in an around London outside of the scope of the event (i.e. personal tourism travel) and accommodation.
