OVERVIEW
Weekly NICAS Clubs are open to kids of all abilities and follow the National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme. They are booked as a course of weekly 1.5-hour sessions during term time and follow five certificated levels of a nationally accredited scheme which cover roped climbing skills in detail - basic safety skills, climbing technique, use of equipment (including harnesses, ropes, belay devices, & anchors), and many other elements included in top roping & lead climbing.
Note, this course is only available at our Wandsworth centre.
AGE & LEVELS
The groups are split into two age groups, 8-12-years, and 12-18-years, and there are three levels within each age range.
- Level 1: Learn the important basic safety skills, harnesses, ropes, knots, belay devices, & top-rope climbing technique
- Levels 2 & 3: Improve and progress your top rope climbing skills
- Levels 4 & 5: Introduction & development of lead climbing skills

PRICE
The cost is £26 per session, but is dependent upon the number of weeks in the term e.g, £286 for an 11-week term.
